Huge turnover claiming it is because they demand such perfection from their Nectar budtenders. You will constantly receive notifications about shifts needing coverage because they are always short staffed due to the GM's militant firings of amazing staff. It is the Nectar business model that the customer is always right,no matter what. The Deputy app will take over your life with constant notifications because they own you. Management will never side with you over a customer. Customers are abusive when they no longer get deals that were once offered, and you will get thrown under the bus. Company does not match the 401 k and I have heard that the health insurance is quite expensive. You will most likely never see the benefits that they claim to have. Your paid time off is used to not get points for being sick or having an emergency. Everything is "at-will", so you have zero job security. Not much time for a life outside of Nectar. You are on your feet from the time you walk in the door until you leave. The job itself is fun, but the politics and GM make you hate your job. It is very political and gossip and lies run rampant. Most of the leads are 20 year old lackeys who would never be in management at any other company. Upper management are friends of the owner so they aren't going anywhere. Management is the worst I have ever seen. You are essentially an undervalued minimum wage retail slave. Unfortunately Nectar is not the cool cannabis culture it makes itself out to be.
